For Petra and Klaus Fleischhaker, the proprietors of the Hotel Rathaus, wine is an expression of a culture of pleasure. The director of the house, Conrad Schröpel, shows an unpretentious approach to the theme of wine. A good glass of Austrian wine will certainly be celebrated. But what the Hotel Rathaus Wine & Design team agrees: one need not be a wine expert to immerse oneself in the world of the taste of wine.

For this reason the private, individual enjoyment of wine is a focus of all of the hotel’s activities. Tastings are organised on request – whether for a married couple, friends or a group of business partners. Not the hotel but the guest determines which of the Austrian wines of strong character they wish to sample.

The offer for hiring the winter-garden for private wine tastings is unique. You can bring your treasures from your own cellar, which you can then taste with friends or customers with the support of the hotel’s infrastructure.
