Kollwentz-Römerhof Wine Estate

The Kollwentz-Römerhof Wine Estate is provably in possession of the Kollwentz family since 1775. It is located on a southern slope of the Leitha Range close to the provincial capital and Haydn city of Eisenstadt.

Anton Kollwentz the pioneer has guaranteed the highest quality for decades with his Römerhof Wine Estate. Anton the father and his son Andi Kollwentz are true all-rounders. Their name represents sturdy red wines, spicy Sauvignon blanc, highly mature Chardonnays and excellent sweet wines.

Exceptional and comprehensive effort has given them for the fifth time three-cluster awards in all three categories in the 2004 Gault Millau Wine Guide.
The guide authors relate: “...the successful duo has achieved a masterpiece that no other vintner has achieved to date – three clusters in all three categories judged – white, red and sweet wines.”
