Schützen am Gebirge, a small community in Burgenland, is an oasis of sensory joy and pleasure. Time passes somewhat differently here in the hills at the edge of the Lake Neusiedl Nature Park. There is a very special aroma in the air, above all in high summer, and those standing on the Goldberg will notice that even the light has a very unique quality and colour to be found nowhere else.

It is an exceptionally favoured spot, for which reason everyone is happy to return after once discovering our paradise with its gentle landscape and mild climate that allows fascinating vegetation to grow. In Schützen we harvest the best that nature offers to us. That our wines are counted among the best in Austria every year in the specialist press, shows that we are on the right road.
Much of what we value is also to be found in our wines. In the same way that this region combines lightness with power, like the people here they are open, accessible but still not easy to fathom.
